For years, I have been fascinated consumer culture, marketing, and the relationship between citizens and brands. Through mass media, social relationships, and even in school, we are socialized into developing brand loyalties from a very young age. Often, certain brands carry social status, and visions of success include purchasing power. Meanwhile, the newest technologies are designed with obsolescence in mind.

"Living Simple" raises questions about these relationships, in hopes that the listener might take a little time to find their own answers.
